About the Editor
Notable AAP Pediatric Coding Newsletter Online Consulting Editor Linda Edwards, CPC has 36
years experience in the healthcare industry and 29 years of experience in
medical practice management, reimbursement, and compliance for physicians and
national medical health systems. She specialized in medical record
documentation and CPT and ICD-9-CM coding for physicians in private practice,
university and hospital based practices, and managed care organizations and
currently provides coding and compliance education to pediatricians as a staff
member of the Georgia Chapter American Academy of Pediatrics. Linda received
her Registered Nurse Diploma from House of the Good Samaritan Hospital in
Watertown, New York and is a member of the American Academy of Professional
Coders and GA Medical Group Management Association.
